"My daughter Piper has participated in Go Far since kindergarten. Last year (2nd grade) she decided she wanted to run the two mile race. I was worried that it might be too much for her and that she may have taken on too much. Race day came and she was a little nervous.. But that kid took the 2 mile in her own stride, pausing only a couple of times, and finished that race with a look of determination that I have never seen her have before. It wasn't that she took first place and it wasn't that she made a best time for herself: it was the fact that she set her goal high, stuck to it and never have up. Tears filled my eyes that day, as I realized that hard work and determination does resonate with a 7 year old-- and it is an amazing accomplishment to watch it all from the eye of a parent! Go Far gives our kids strength, confidence and a desire to achieve. Thank you!"
